Ameka Kurene
SALON OWNER / SENIOR STYLIST
Ameka qualified in 2012 and has always loved all aspects of hairdressing. Her favourite days would be ones full of foiling techniques and blow waving. There’s nothing better then a fresh blow out! She works on the floor full time and has a clientele of people who have watched her grow from the start of her hairdressing career and she loves them like a big family.
When she’s not working, Ameka is either enjoying her son Jake and family or in Australia with her partner making family memories.
Lee-Anne Booth
SENIOR STYLIST
Lee-Anne qualified in 2018 and enjoys most aspects of hairdressing. She is confident with new clients and is a warm friendly face around the salon.
Currently working part time in the salon and part time for Lavender Blue with in home care in the evenings, she still manages to find time to spend with her husband and two beautiful boys.
Trinity Turner
INTERMEDIATE STYLIST
Trin is currently collecting evidence to prepare for her final assessments for her hairdressing qualification. She has been part of the team since April 2022 and has been building her clientele since. She is doing most hairdressing services now but still has her seniors as a helping hand when she needs.
Working part time she spends her free time tagging along with her partner in his trucking job or spending time with her animals.
Tyra Gill
INTERMEDIATE STYLIST
Tyra is currently in her 3rd year of her apprenticeship but has been working as part of the TrademarX family since 2019. She has gained a lot of knowledge and experience in that time and is confident in meeting new people and building a relationship with them for the future as her clientele.
On her days off you’ll find her running around a paddock with her horses.
Tracy Kurene
SALON ASSISTANT
Tracy is our salon Mum and the welcoming face of our front of house on a late night and Saturday. She helps the flow of the salon by making hot drinks, seeing clients in and out, answering the phone and occasionally shampooing or drying to help the girls on those busy days.
She also works full time during the weekdays at her cleaning job and still spends as much time as possible with her grand-babies.
